Attorney Myrna Silver has a passion for helping the parents of children with disabilities obtain special education services for their child in the public school systems of Texas.
The firm's philosophy is that all families should be equipped with the knowledge and the legal backing to obtain the best possible education for their special needs child as is allowed under the law.
Myrna Silver works to achieve these goals for each child she represents by improving the structure and implementation of each student's IEP, as well as obtaining placements in private schools at school district expense where a district is unable to provide a free, appropriate education for a child. She regularly participates in "ARD" (IEP team) meetings, mediations, and due process hearings, including prosecuting and defending appeals to federal district courts.
